Svala is a private club. Admission is by invitation and consideration; it is a privilege, extended once and revocable always. These rules are not guidelines. They are the terms on which the door stays open to you.
1.1 You joined under your real, legal name. It stays real. Impersonation, invented identities, or membership on behalf of another person — including lending your device or your account to anyone — ends your membership.
1.2 One member, one account, one device. Attempting to run parallel accounts, or to transfer, sell, or share access, ends your membership.
1.3 You are responsible for everything done through your account.
2.1 Every conversation begins with consent. A declined introduction is an answer, not an opening bid. Knocking repeatedly on a closed door is harassment.
2.2 Harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation, sexual advances after refusal, hate directed at any person or group, and any conduct that would be shameful in a drawing room ends your membership.
2.3 Svala is not a marketplace. Unsolicited selling, promotion, fundraising, deal-flow spam, recruitment, and multi-level anything are prohibited. Members speak as people, not as pipelines.
2.4 No unlawful content or unlawful use — no exceptions, no debates. This includes content sexualising minors (reported to authorities, always and immediately), trafficking, fraud, and the planning of crimes.
3.1 What is said in Svala stays in Svala. Messages die within 24 hours by design; do not resurrect them. Screenshots, screen recordings, exports, photographs of screens, and verbatim republication of private conversations are prohibited. Detection or credible report of it ends your membership.
3.2 Another member's presence in the club is itself confidential. You do not confirm to outsiders who is, or is not, a member.
3.3 The press exists; Svala does not speak to it, and neither do you on Svala's behalf.
4.1 Reports are read by a person. When you report a conversation you may choose to reveal its recent messages to the desk; nothing is revealed without that choice.
4.2 Sanctions are: a private word, suspension of introductions, or expulsion. We choose which. Expulsion is immediate, permanent, and without refund of the club fee, as the fee purchases consideration, not tenure.
4.3 We do not litigate moderation decisions in public, and we owe no explanation beyond the one we choose to give. Where the law requires more, the law receives it.
4.4 Blocked is blocked. Circumventing a block through any means is treated as harassment.
5.1 These rules sit alongside the Terms of Membership and Privacy Policy; where they conflict, the Terms govern.
5.2 We may refine these rules; continued membership after notice is acceptance.
5.3 If any clause is unenforceable somewhere, the rest stand everywhere.
